Past month I experimented with using Claude for debugging issues and creating patches. While it sometimes came up with over-complicated solutions and unnecessary patches, overall this was quite smooth and resolved a lot of old issues in complex codebases (java, python, erlang, mono, zig, rust(crates)). Interestingly, this does not yet show in the current numbers. Reviewing, testing, cleaning and upstreaming will take time, but eventually fixes will land. At this pace, we should reach 100% reproducibility before 2030.
